Polo Invitational
A crowd of over 300 privately invited guests gathered to watch the Ruddles Trophy 2009 on a sunny Bank Holiday Monday at the Rutland Polo Club. Cheered on by a home crowd, Stapleford Park (captained by Shuif Hussain) won a thrilling final against Santa Paz, 9-6. Commentary by the Australian team captain, Glen Gilmore, meant the claps, and laughs, came in all the right places.
The winning team - Stapleford Park: Alexander Boucher, Felicia Collie, Shuif Hussain, Tom Collie and Fabio Lavinia.
A Harrods hamper was the eagerly claimed first prize for the Prince’s Trust raffle. Stapleford Park's partners supported the day: St James’s Place Wealth Management, Berkeley Insurance Group, Collective Minds, Bentley, Harrods Aviation and Lumbers.
