The Ben Kay Golf Invitational
On a sunny and windswept day, Ben Kay's Testimonial Committee and their guests took on the challenging Stapleford Park golf course. Port St George (Bahamas), skippered by Richard Keyworth won the tournament with star player Robert Duck, agent to a number of the European's leading golfers, taking the individual prize with 40 Stableford points off an handicap of 2.

'Nearest the Pin' went to Chris Thewlis of the Ideal Heating team, with 'Longest Drive' going to Robert Rees. Tony Hildrew (Vaillant team) also took home a prize for best gross score(behind Robert Duck) of 82 off a handicap of 5.
Following the golf, Ben Kay's guests stayed on for dinner at the house and were entertained in a Q&A with former Tigers and England star Leon Lloyd and current captain of the club, Geordan Murphy.
The championships were run by the events division of the hotel, The Stapleford Forum.
